International Marine Key Account Manager (South Korea)

Responsibilities:

- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customer in the assigned territory to generate new business. 

- Makes telephone calls and in-person visit and presentations to current and prospective customers. 

- Propose to Management, develop and implement local marketing and sales strategies. 

- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customer after approval by management. 

- Coordinates sales efforts with sales management, marketing, customer service and technical services acting as a key-account manager. Provide after-sales services meet customers’ needs. 

- Supplies management with oral or written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for products or services. 

- Keeps himself updated on markets, products, technical requirements. 

- Participates in trade shows, conferences or conventions. 

- Operates on a daily basis in full respect of the delegation of authorities by Total Lubmarine. 

- Applies and promotes the group policies and guideline - code of conduct, HSE. 

- Update customers’ credit limits in relation with Lubmarine’s Credit Department. 

- Manage customer payment performance to meet agreed credit performance targets. 

- Coordination of local marketing events 

Requirements

- Bachelor or Master Degree, good business knowledge in B-to-B markets preferably in the maritime business. 

- Strong management, communication, presentation and negotiation skills. 

- Good knowledge of marine lubricants, their application and markets. 

- 5 - 10 years experience in marine or similar industries. 

- Language skills: Fluent written and spoken English and Korean.
